About the role

The Role As a Business Management Intern, you will work alongside our account teams to support the financial health of our high-profile clients. This isn’t just about filing papers; you’ll gain a front-row seat to how the music industry operates behind the scenes, from tour accounting to royalty tracking.

Responsibilities

• Financial Support: Assist with accounts payable/receivable and data entry for artist accounts.
• Tour Accounting: Help track tour expenses, per diems, and nightly settlements to ensure life on the road stays on budget.
• Royalty Management: Support the team in organizing and reviewing royalty statements from streaming, publishing, and physical sales.
• Administrative Excellence: Assist with document management, scanning, and digital filing to keep client records audit-ready.
• Special Projects: Tackle research projects related to industry trends, tax compliance, or insurance for touring entities.

Requirements

• You have a genuine interest in the entertainment industry and understand that the "boring" financial stuff is what makes the magic possible.
• You are pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Music Business.
• You spot a typo or a decimal error from a mile away.
• You understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality when working with high-profile clients.
• You thrive in a fast-paced environment and aren’t afraid to ask questions.
