About the role

Launch your accounting career with a part-time internship at Pinion, the nation’s leading food and ag consulting and accounting firm. This hands-on opportunity runs from August 10, 2027 to October 1, 2027, offering real-world experience across tax and audit while working alongside professionals in a collaborative, growth-oriented culture. Interns are considered for future employment opportunities upon successful completion of the internship.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Assist with financial statement preparation, audits, general accounting, and special projects.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real client work while managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings and collaborate with professionals across multiple levels of the firm.
  • Utilize technology and data tools to deliver accurate, efficient results.
  • Build lasting relationships with fellow interns, mentors, and firm leaders.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Accounting (or related field) or enrolled in an Accounting certificate program.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher in major and overall.
  • Available to work 24 hours per week (part-time).
  • Must work fully in the office.
  • This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Bonus: Seeking to meet CPA exam sit-eligibility requirements.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $27 per hour, based on factors including experience, skills, certifications/licenses, and geographic location.
