Responsibilities

• Join the Health Care & Life Sciences Practice as a first-year associate in Fall 2027 (current 3L law student)
• Work alongside experienced attorneys within the Health Care & Life Sciences Practice
• Gain hands-on experience across a range of complex legal matters
• Develop legal skills through substantive assignments, legal research and writing, regulatory analysis
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver practical, business-focused solutions for clients
• Position located in Washington DC, Chicago, Nashville, or New York office
• Full-time position with structured training, mentorship, and client exposure

Qualifications

• Current 3L student graduating in spring 2027
• Plans to sit for the July 2027 bar exam in the jurisdiction corresponding to the EBG office (Washington DC, Illinois, Massachusetts, Tennessee, or Ohio), or eligible for admission to that jurisdiction by waiver
• Demonstrated interest in health law through education and/or experience
• Should be in the top 1/3 of law school class
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and research abilities
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative approach and a commitment to professional growth

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $200,000 base salary. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus. Pay range: USD $200,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 per year.
