About the role
Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a dynamic intern or co-op student with a passion for supply chain management. Ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm for process improvement, data analysis, and collaborative problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance flow, reduce waste, and increase throughput
- Analyze data to identify trends, support decision-making, and improve reporting accuracy
- Conduct operational audits and time studies to establish baseline performance metrics
- Update systems and documentation for standardized work and training
- Create layout updates using CAD tools to reflect current operations
- Review inventory and material flow to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects with manufacturing, logistics, planning, and quality teams
- Engage in continuous improvement activities aligned with Shaw's operational excellence goals

Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 2.5
- Completion of at least 3 semesters of college coursework
- Full-time student registered with your university’s co-op or career services office
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
