[Fall 2026] Middle School Volleyball Assistant Coach

About the role

Support the head coach in organizing and running volleyball programs for middle school students at multiple sites in New York, NY. Assist in game preparation, player development, and team management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in game preparation and strategy discussions
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and techniques
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and games
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about team activities

Requirements

• Experience coaching volleyball at the middle school level
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Skills

• Volleyball coaching experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
