About the role

The position is part-time and seasonal, focusing on coaching Middle School girls volleyball at multiple sites in New York, NY. The program runs during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement volleyball training programs tailored to Middle School athletes.
• Work closely with school administrators and other coaches to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices, games, and travel arrangements.
• Provide feedback and support to players to help them improve their skills and performance.

Requirements

• A strong background in volleyball coaching, preferably at the middle school level.
• Experience working with young athletes and managing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
