Fall 2026 Media Relations Intern

About the role

This is a fully remote, part-time internship position running from September 14, 2026, to December 4, 2026. The role requires approximately 30 hours per week, with flexible hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Organize, maintain, and update media lists
• Update and track internal communications databases
• Work on written press products, including weekly newsletters, briefing documents, press releases, and other materials
• Conduct media research
• Monitor news coverage

What you will learn

• Increased knowledge of the political media landscape
• Familiarity with media databases and sending platforms (Cision)
• Experience writing press materials
• Exposure to media relationship building and pitching

Requirements

• Commitment to Reproductive Freedom for All’s work to protect and advance reproductive freedom, including access to abortion care, birth control, pregnancy and post-partum care, and paid family leave
• Commitment to contributing to a workplace environment in which diversity is valued and supported
• Experience or interest in media relations
• Cultural competency
• Willingness to work as a team member and to contribute to a positive team environment
• Ideally available to work 30 hours per week

Pay

$19.61/hour

Schedule
