This is a paid internship opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while applying learnings from the classroom. The program is hybrid, offering in-office experience approximately 3 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Assists the Sales/Partnership team in evaluating new sponsorship opportunities.
- Manages and updates company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM).
- Identifies new prospective companies for partnerships with ESM talent and shares individual rationale with the team.
- Develops and provides detailed briefs on companies across a variety of industries for prospective sales calls.
- Services product requests by clients through value-in-kind partnerships.
- Contributes to expanding the partnership team’s sales strategies.
- Stays up to date with current sponsorship news and trends across all sports.
- Collaborates and contributes creative marketing ideas to support sales outreach.
- Gains an understanding of the complete sales cycle necessary for successfully securing athlete endorsements.
- Has access to the Excel team for industry advice and learnings.
- May occasionally be assigned projects outside the partnerships group to gain exposure to other divisions within Excel.
Requirements
- Available to work under 30 hours per week.
- Available to report to the West Hollywood office approximately 3 days a week.
- Must have senior standing in college (completed junior year of undergrad), be enrolled in graduate school, or hold a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.
- Responsible for individual transportation and housing needs.
Schedule
- Fall Program: Monday, September 14th, 2026 through Thursday, December 10th, 2026.
- Office Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PT, Monday-Friday, or as agreed upon with advisor.
- Days in office must be coordinated with advisor’s schedules.
- Expected to work 24-29.9 hours per week during the session.
Pay
$20.25 per hour.
