Main Responsibilities
- Assist in designing engaging visuals for print and digital platforms (social media, email campaigns, presentations, brochures, signage, etc.)
- Assist with layout design, typography, and visual formatting in alignment with U.S. Hunger’s brand guidelines
- Learn to prepare and export design files optimized for both digital publishing and professional print production
- Assist with basic photo editing and video thumbnails
- Creative Production
- Assemble and package creative materials for events, campaigns, and mailings (banners, signs, shipping kits, handouts, etc.)
- Assist in quality-checking and preparing print orders (crop marks, bleeds, resolution, etc.)
- Help organize and manage creative assets and printed material inventory
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related field—or equivalent coursework/experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite — Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Familiarity with Canva
- Understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
- Experience preparing files for print (CMYK vs. RGB, bleeds, margins, etc.)
- Has the ability to support UI/UX projects by creating mockups and user-friendly visual components (Preferred, not required)
- A strong design portfolio showcasing your creativity and technical skill (Required)
