About the role
GA: Faculty Support – Assist faculty with tasks such as supervising laboratories under their supervision; grading quizzes, homework, and other projects; and assisting with other course and research‑related duties as assigned. In the Lewis College of Business at Marshall University, the role involves assisting faculty and staff with accreditation‑related data, providing research support for LCOB faculty, helping with editing, researching articles, and creating new research, supporting LCOB‑led community activities, and helping faculty with day‑to‑day projects as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Supervising laboratories under faculty supervision
- Grading quizzes, homework, and other projects
- Assisting with other course and research‑related duties as assigned
- Assisting faculty and staff with data related to accreditation
- Providing research support for LCOB faculty
- Assisting with editing, researching articles, and creating new research
- Assisting with LCOB‑led community activities
- Assisting faculty with day‑to‑day projects as they arise
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of various versions of Windows and general PC hardware
- Ability to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description
Skills
- Knowledge of various versions of Windows and general PC hardware

- Laboratory supervision
Schedule
Expected commitment: 20 hours per week during the Fall semester.
