About the role

The Digital Sharks early careers program focuses on SharkNinja’s eCommerce Pure Players business—the team responsible for the company’s presence on major marketplaces like Amazon, Mercado Libre, and Takealot. This program aims to convert marketplace attention into revenue.

As a Performance Data Associate on the Pure Players Performance Data team, you’ll help build APEX, the intelligence layer behind SharkNinja’s marketplace strategy. You’ll work with vast performance data sets, integrate third-party APIs, and support AI-driven agents to enhance decision-making. This role offers hands-on experience in AI-native analytics within a fast-paced, global eCommerce environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own a defined market and measurable business outcome from your first month, gaining exposure to global eCommerce operations.
  • Integrate third-party API connections into APEX to enhance agentic context.
  • Support the Agentic Jailbreak Big Build through three consecutive two-week sprints.
  • Structure, validate, and document marketplace performance data to expand APEX’s knowledge base.
  • Test agent outputs against real performance data and document limitations.
  • Translate commercial questions from Sales and Digital Marketing into actionable data for agents.
  • Build and maintain reporting on availability, pricing, content quality, and advertising efficiency.
  • Conduct competitor and category analysis to identify marketplace opportunities.
  • Participate in program rituals, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and weekly Show & Tell sessions.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate or final-year student in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Curiosity about AI and agentic tools, with a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Comfort working with APIs, structured data, and real-world datasets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and support decision-making.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working fluency in English; fluency in Spanish required for roles based in Mexico City.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of SQL or Python (preferred).
  • Exposure to LLM or agentic tooling through academic or personal projects.
  • Experience with reporting or data visualization tools.
  • Interest in eCommerce, marketplaces, or digital commerce.
  • Awareness of marketplace analytics platforms such as Stackline, Nubimetrics, or GFK.

Pay

Annual salary range: $26,000–$29,000 USD.
