Fall 2026 Co-Op - Injection Molding Engineering
Key Responsibilities
- Involved in Injection Molding optimization and improvements in a high-speed manufacturing facility.
- Responsible for learning injection molding operations and the change controls related to his/her assigned initiatives.
- Contributes to program updates to senior-level stakeholders.
- Actively participates in continuous improvements to communications metrics to achieve higher levels of business impact.
- Makes sure to monitor impact through various channels of feedback for demonstrated results.
Minimum Qualifications for Co-Ops
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to co-op, and at least one additional semester following your co-op.
- Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related major.
- Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0.
- Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e., extracurricular activities or projects).
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis. Students on an F1 visa with CPT work authorization may be accommodated.
- Able to commit to a semester-long, full time (40 hours per week) fall co-op.
Preferred Qualifications
- We are interested in students from the following majors: Plastics Engineering, B.S. Plastics Engineering Technology, B.S. Polymer Engineering, B.S. Materials Science and Engineering – Polymers, B.S.
- Effective communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Advanced people skills and the ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
- Strong project management capabilities.
- High diligence together with an ability to understand the big picture.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior time management and prioritization skills.
- Independent worker and initiative-taker.
- High proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude CAD and ability to 3D print.
- Prior experience with SolidWorks.
