About the role

The Co-op Program at Kokosing is designed to provide students with practical construction industry experience, the chance to work on value-added projects, connect with a mentor in their field of study, network with senior leaders, team members, and other co-ops, and so much more.

Responsibilities

• Work with Full Time construction professionals to gain guidance and expertise on various tasks.
• Be assigned specific project responsibilities and daily activities to experience the industry firsthand.
• Contribute directly to the completion of a quality project.
• Receive structured work efforts to learn about areas of interest and contribute to project completion.
• Be assigned a mentor for any questions or support needed during the co-op.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Interest in a co-op experience for the Spring, Summer, or Fall semesters.
• Able to commit to the duration of the co-op program.
• Reflects Kokosing's core values and culture of safety.

Qualifications

• Strong academic performance.
• Desire to learn and grow in the construction industry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of construction practices and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
