About the role

This position is available for 2nd shift work, Monday through Thursday, from 3pm to 1am. The shift includes a 10% to 15% premium, paid lunch, 3-day weekends, and formal airframe training. After 3 years, there's the opportunity to transition to 1st shift.

Responsibilities

  • Performing general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
  • Removal and installation of panels and components
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving aircraft system/component issues
  • Engine removal/installations
  • Operating ground support equipment
  • Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components
  • Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing
  • Maintenance and repair of shop facility, equipment, and tooling
  • Effectively and clearly communicating (speaking, writing, reading) in English
  • Performing any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Requirements

  • A High school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory
  • AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred. 0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar
  • AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license is required. Airframe license is preferred. 2-4 years of experience working in aviation maintenance, experience working on corporate aircraft is preferred but not essential
  • AMT III: Airframe license is required; in addition, Powerplant license is highly preferred. 4-6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance, experience working on corporate aircraft is highly preferred but not essential
  • AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license is required. 6+ years’ experience in aviation maintenance. Must have extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms. Subject matter expert in all areas of the job

  • Self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Attend work every day as scheduled, including overtime and weekend assignments
  • Notify supervisor in advance if unable to work
  • Reliable transportation to get to work each day
  • Work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines
  • Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties
  • Maintain customer-oriented work habits

Skills

  • Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
  • Effective communication (speaking, writing, reading) in English
