Faith Finders Aide - Evergreen

Job Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children at all times
• Supervise and actively engage with children during classroom activities, outdoor play, water activities, and transitions
• Auxiliary with teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities, including crafts, games, and faith-based learning experiences
• Support the integration of Catholic teachings and values into daily programming
• Collaborate with teachers and program staff to ensure a consistent and well-organized daily schedule
• Auxiliary with the preparation, distribution, and cleanup of snacks and lunches
• Maintain supervision of children's behavior and encourage positive interactions, conflict resolution, and respect for others
• Auxiliary with the setup, organization, and cleanup of supplies, equipment, and program spaces
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and shared spaces
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, teachers, and team members regarding student needs, concerns, or incidents

Job Requirements

• Minimum age of 16 years old
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with children
• Dependable, responsible, and positive attitude
• Willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of the parish
• Ability to follow directions and assist teachers and program staff as needed throughout the day
