Position Overview

The Cedarville University School of Engineering and Computer Science seeks exceptional faculty members to join their Electrical Engineering program. This position is open to candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, with rank commensurate with experience and credentials.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor undergraduate students in various electrical engineering areas
• Advising students and senior design projects
• Participate in the development of an innovative curriculum with a strong focus on lab-based learning and project work

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, plus at least 6 years of professional engineering experience in a relevant area of electrical engineering
• Proven ability to effectively communicate engineering and professional subject material to students
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team with students and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage in Christian mentorship and discipleship in both one-on-one and larger group contexts
• Ability to provide professional mentorship and career guidance
• Articulated commitment to and understanding of biblical integration in and out of the classroom
• Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ
