Faculty Position in Body and Abdominal Imaging

About the role

The Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Radiologist to join the Body and Abdominal Imaging Division. Appointment rank on the non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator career track will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and mentoring FSM trainees and students

Requirements

Board certified with additional training in abdominal imaging. Expertise in abdominal and pelvic imaging and a demonstrated interest in an academic career. Excellent diagnostic clinical skills are also a prerequisite in this high-volume department (CT, MR, ultrasound and GI/GU radiology excluding interventional procedures).

Qualifications

PhD or MD degree, residency in radiology, and fellowship in abdominal imaging preferred.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $380,000 - $500,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
