Faculty Position – Immunology or Bone Marrow Transplantation & Cellular Therapy – Center of Excellence for Pediatric Immuno-Oncology
About the role
The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is expanding its translational immuno-oncology and immunotherapy program with the establishment of the Center of Excellence for Pediatric Immuno-Oncology (CEPIO). We are currently recruiting laboratory-based faculty members at the ASSISTANT, ASSOCIATE, or FULL Member levels.
Responsibilities
- Study the tumor microenvironment, immunometabolism, tumor/immune cell interactions, systems immunology, and functional genomics.
- Engage in ex vivo or in vivo immune cell engineering research.
- Collaborate with a network of basic, translational, and clinical investigators.
Requirements
- PhD, MD, or equivalent degree.
- At least three years of relevant postgraduate experience.
- A proven track record of productivity.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in cancer immunology.
- Experience in tumor microenvironment, immunometabolism, tumor/immune cell interactions, systems immunology, and/or ex vivo/in vivo immune cell engineering.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of relevant scientific literature and methodologies.
