Faculty Physician - FSU Internal Medicine Residency Program

About the role

Lee Health is seeking an Internal Medicine Faculty Physician to provide clinical patient care and be responsible for teaching and advising family medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, supervising, and evaluating internal medicine residents using real-time face-to-face feedback
• Participate in remediation of residents
• Participate in resident’s Didactic conferences including M&M, EMB, journal club, daily morning report, noon conferences as a lecturer, etc
• Faculty physicians will dedicate an average of 15 hours per week to the program

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain this prior to start date
• Graduate of an accredited Residency Program in Internal Medicine
• Clear, unrestricted DEA
• Must comply with all ACGME core faculty requirements
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials through the American Heart Association
