Part-time Lecturer position for the 2026 fall term in the Department of Behavioral and Community Health Sciences (BCHS), School of Public Health, University of Pittsburgh.

About the role

The ideal candidate will teach one section of BCHS 2660 Harm Reduction Approaches in Health & Public Health Settings.

Responsibilities

• Teach one section of BCHS 2660 Harm Reduction Approaches in Health & Public Health Settings
• Meet with students beyond the classroom as appropriate to their educational needs
• Provide regular feedback to students through in-class desk critiques, reviews, and graded assignments

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences and/or a related public health field
• Prior classroom lecture experience at an institution of higher learning (preferred)

Assignment category: part-time temporary. This position may be bargaining unit eligible.
