About the role
Mount Aloysius College, repeatedly recognized by ModernThink as a “Great College to Work For,” invites applications for a highly qualified professional with Finance experience to join our ACBSP-Accredited Business Department at the start of the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate coursework in the Business curricula, covering Finance and related subjects.
- Teach 24 credit hours or equivalent per academic year.
- Have a regular presence on campus to engage with students both inside and outside the classroom.
- Be onsite 5 days per week.
- Participate in and remain available for meetings/committee work.
- Advise students academically.
- Hold regular office hours.
- Afford support to Departmental initiatives, College events and other activities which may occur at times outside of the assigned/regular teaching schedule.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Finance or related discipline required. ABD candidates will be considered if completion of Ph.D. is within one year of date of hire.
- Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) is desired.
- Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience teaching Finance courses at the collegiate level is strongly preferred.
- Significant work experience in the fields of business and/or Finance is also preferred.
- The ideal candidate is committed to applying active learning strategies in the classroom, participating in curriculum development, and utilizing online/hybrid teaching modalities.

Pay
- This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time; all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of their application.
Schedule
- A regular, full-time, 9-month appointment, with primary teaching obligations during the core academic year from August – May.
