Factory Worker

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring Factory Workers for a large, well-known client in Defiance, OH. As a Factory Worker you will be an essential part of our client’s core operations, ensuring that quality product is produced, assembled, packaged, and ready for delivery to the end customer.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and prepare orders while maintaining an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties and report any unsafe work area conditions.
• Perform basic assembling, machine operating, and material handling.
• Use an RF Scanner.
• Perform pre-assembly set-up and functions as required.
• Ensure product and process quality through appropriate inspection and packing process.
• Maintain efficiency and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Stack, pack, count, and label completed parts that are ready for distribution.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience and/or training preferred.
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Pay

$17/hr

Schedule

This position operates on a 12-hour shift schedule on a 2-week rotation. Assigned workdays are based on the crew you join at the start of employment.

• Day shift: 6am - 6pm
• Night shift: 6pm - 6am
