Factory Acceptance Testing Process Engineer, Ford Energy

Responsibilities

• Test Process Development
• Maintain End-of-Line (EOL) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) procedures for all BESS product lines.
• Translate design validation requirements and test methods into scalable, repeatable production test sequences.
• Define pass/fail criteria, test sequencing, and traceable data capture requirements for each test station.
• Support onsite audits of customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience developing production test processes for high-voltage battery or power electronics products.
• Familiarity with automated test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Experience scaling test processes from low-volume pilot production to high-volume manufacturing.
• Six Sigma certification with production/process capability analysis experience.
• Direct experience with stationary BESS end-of-line testing.
• Automated test equipment/PLC systems
• SCADA/data acquisition software
• SPC and yield analysis tools (Minitab, JMP)
