About the Role
McKesson’s temperature-controlled Distribution Center in Orlando, FL is hiring a Facilities Representative. This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance, repairs of internal/external areas, to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment. The role requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks while communicating professionally with a wide range of groups, from upper management to front-line employees.
Responsibilities
- Perform building maintenance and repairs of internal/external areas
- Oversee and assist with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment used in a distribution center environment
- Safely use various types of maintenance/facility trade equipment (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
- Adhere to lock out/tag out and OSHA safety standards
- Assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage or supporting repairs of DC equipment
- Work order management (preferred)
Requirements
- Typically requires 1+ years of related experience
- Facility, maintenance, or service technician experience
- Troubleshooting and repair experience with distribution center equipment
- Basic knowledge of warehouse work environments
- Exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc.)
- Openness to assist with a variety of tasks, including general labor
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working at heights (up to 4 stories), in cold areas, and using ladders, scissor lifts, or forklifts
- Willingness to maintain certifications for power equipment operation
Skills
- Professional communication with diverse groups
- Aptitude for learning conveyance systems quickly
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., voltmeters, pressure gauges)
Schedule
Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM (shift subject to change; overtime mandatory if required).
Pay
Competitive base pay of $18.50–$30.83/hour, plus a $1.50/hour shift differential. Eligible to participate in a company incentive plan, earning up to an additional 5% of salary (paid biweekly).
