Facility Technician II

About the role

This is a physically demanding job requiring industrial labor under potentially adverse/challenging conditions (e.g., extreme cold). We offer a shuttle service to assist employees commuting from Tooele, Grantsville, and West Valley to our facility located off Exit 56 on I‑80.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Perform hands-on operations such as drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, and offloading vans
• Perform drum storage, repacks, and use of drum scanner
• Operate a forklift when needed
• Complete required paperwork for waste tracking
• Wear proper personal protective equipment for extended periods, including full-face respirator and hazmat/Tyvek suit
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated stability in previous employment
• Ability to work a rotating shift as needed
• Ability to work in adverse conditions
• Forklift experience preferred

Pay

$28.45 per hour
