Responsibilities
- Develops and coordinates facility space strategy in alignment with DCSA’s Strategic Plan.
- Analyzes organizational space needs, limitations, and costs.
- Determines space suitability and assesses long-term needs.
- Plans and implements space layouts and renovations.
- Manages space allocation and improvement records.
- Uses AutoCAD and ArcGIS software for design documentation.
- Provides professional services on building and facility design, construction, and development.
- Manages space planning and maximizes utilization.
- Conducts facility requirement evaluations and economic analyses.
- Requests, processes, and translates datasets for geospatial platforms.
- Supports directorate-specific and cross-functional analytical tasks.
- Presents findings and recommendations to leadership.
- Develops and maintains space utilization metrics.
- Evaluates and recommends consolidation, acquisition, or construction of space.
- Coordinates redesign planning projects.
- Reviews and advises on design changes and equipment specifications.
- Develops feasibility studies for leadership decisions.
- Manages multiple projects with deadlines.
- Maintains orderly and complete CAD files.
- Provides remote support for spatial layout design.
- Assists in design and construction of office and facility expansions.
- Plans project requirements by creating detailed drawings and plans.
Qualifications
- US Citizen with an active Secret clearance.
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel 25%.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to work for extended periods sitting or standing.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ArcGIS software.
