Facility Services Technician

Duties

• Paint touch-ups around the building as needed
• Sweep and mop floors
• Clean and maintain washrooms, dressing rooms, office spaces, and facility access areas
• Clean glass & other surfaces
• Collect and empty garbage receptacles
• Participate in the preparation, setup, and completion of conversions
• Interact with internal departments to meet their day-to-day building needs
• Operate with a sense of urgency while prioritizing facility needs
• Collaborate with full-time/part-time staff to ensure facility needs are met
• Complete setup sheets specific to each event

Qualifications

• Maintain day-to-day building cleanliness
• Be responsive to the needs of guests, vendors, and staff
• Promptly report all maintenance issues
• Adequately adhere to all safety and infection control procedures to ensure sanitary conditions
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance
• Follow verbal and written instruction
• Must have experience and knowledge in operation with current OSHA standards
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in person
• Read, write & speak in English
• Transit around the facility for extended periods
• Work with Chemicals/Hazardous Materials
• Develop, manage, and prioritize event setup sheets
• Communicate via work radio
• Strong time management skills
• Team player
• Basic computer skills preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
