Facility Security Officer
About the role
Coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of the DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities. Ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures. Conduct highly sensitive security briefings. Coordinate all security education programs. Act as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies.
Responsibilities
- Manage security requirements for sensitive security programs, including the DoD
- Manage COMSEC
- Manage DoD Open Storage Areas
- Knowledge of DoD security systems or databases, including DISS
- Knowledge of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (32 CFR), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and DoD security requirements
- Top Secret clearance required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing security requirements for sensitive security programs, including the DoD
- Experience managing COMSEC
- Experience managing DoD Open Storage Areas
- Knowledge of DoD security systems or databases, including DISS
- Knowledge of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (32 CFR), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and DoD security requirements
- Top Secret clearance required
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Completion of the DCSA or CDSE Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course

Pay
$69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD)
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Work Model
Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.

Onsite: If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
