Facility Security Officer

Coordinate and monitor highly sensitive aspects of the DoD or other industrial security programs and other security activities. Ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct highly sensitive security briefings
• Coordinate all security education programs
• Act as primary liaison with upper management and outside agencies

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing security requirements for sensitive security programs, including the DoD
• Experience managing COMSEC
• Experience managing DoD Open Storage Areas
• Knowledge of DoD security systems or databases, including DISS
• Knowledge of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (32 CFR), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD), and DoD security requirements
• Top Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

• Bachelor’s degree
• Completion of the DCSA or CDSE Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model
