About the role
The Affinity Group is seeking a part-time Warehouse Manager to support the needs of their internal sales teams and external clients. Based in Plymouth, Michigan, this role involves processing shipping and receiving requests, maintaining inventory cleanliness, and assisting with occasional kitchen tasks.
Responsibilities
- Daily loading and unloading of food products, freight, and POS materials
- Keeping coolers and freezers clean and organized
- Auxiliary food show preparation, set-up, and breakdown
- Auxiliary sales team sample preparation for presentations
- Scheduling large deliveries and placing orders as needed
- Daily, light facilities cleaning in warehouse, kitchen, and sales areas (sweeping, mopping floors, garbage removal, sorting and tidying inventory)
- Maintaining linens
- Ordering labels and inventory supplies
- Performing other general housekeeping duties as assigned
- Communicating effectively with the team and clients
Requirements
- Experience in a warehouse role with knowledge of proper safety protocol is a plus
- Reliable transportation required, along with a safe driving record and valid driver license
- Good organization and communication skills, teamwork oriented
- Ability to work in refrigerated/freezer temperatures periodically throughout the day
- Must be able to receive and lift packages up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be eligible for employment in the U.S.
- Microsoft Office experience is a plus
- Food Show experience is a plus
