Facility Safety Representative

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with company, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards at all company facilities.
• Conducts facility safety audits, observations, and walkthroughs, documents findings, and helps track corrective actions.
• Aids in the implementation and maintenance of facility safety programs, plans, and procedures as directed by the EHS Specialist and Safety Department.
• Provides day-to-day support to management and employees on safety requirements and compliance related matters.
• Assists the Safety Department in incident investigations, case management, and corrective actions, including incidents that happen after hours.
• Works collaboratively with staff and management to complete various Safety Department duties, projects, and initiatives.
• Promotes safe behaviors to help drive a positive safety culture across all levels of the workforce.

Requirements

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to support safety compliance.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Presentation and professionalism.
• Become and remain proficient in all computer programs necessary to perform the everyday duties of this position.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Products is required – especially OUTLOOK, EXCEL, and WORD.
• Proficiency in typing.
