Facility Registered Nurse (RN)

About the Role

The Facility RN is a clinical leader responsible for overseeing patient care, supervising staff, educating families, and ensuring safe, individualized nursing services for medically complex children in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and develop care plans
• Monitor patient progress and implement physician orders
• Supervise LPNs and support staff
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care
• Provide family education and support
• Respond to emergencies
• Participate in staff training and orientation

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification
• Negative TB test
• Clear background check
• Experience with pediatric complex care including ventilators, trachs, suctioning, G-tubes, IVs, oxygen therapy, and emergency response

Skills

• Strong communication and leadership
• Excellent organization and clinical judgment
