Description
This Facility Operator is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring proper working conditions and operation of disposals within assigned area. This position reports to the Area Manager or Supervisor out of our South, Texas office.
Essential Job Duties
- Performs equipment maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to replacing leaking fittings, valves, and repairing hoses.
- Maintains tank level, pressures, tank thieving, and tank gauging, while troubleshooting equipment on location including but not limited to electrical, automation, and mechanical systems.
- Cleans area debris, removes plants, and pressure washes.
- Operates locations’ automation system (SCADA).
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including but no limited to KPA, JSAs, Training, Incident Reports, and Safety Observations.
- Sets and adheres to schedule as agreed upon on the date of hire, and adjusts work schedules thereafter based on company needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and strong time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license and insurable by the Company's insurance provider
Preferred Qualifications
- One year minimum in Oil and Gas industry preferred
- Positive and will-do attitude
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shift schedule
- Must be able to drive for long periods of time, and work under critical weather conditions
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk, climb stairs, and lift over 50 lbs for continuous hours if needed

Working Conditions
- Works in extreme hot and cold temperatures
- Exposed to some chemicals throughout the day
- H2S common around disposals, proper training will be provided prior to working in this environment
