Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3

Prior Qualifications

• Prior management and/or leadership experience (formal or informal) in a heavy industrial plant setting
• Facility Maintenance infrastructure or critical systems experience

Job Description

You will be the Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3 for the Facilities Operations team which is responsible for managing mechanical and electrical maintenance activities across the plant.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Facility Operations Supervisor - Level 3 you will be responsible for directing hourly staff and vendors, overseeing project schedules, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

• Provide direction to hourly/non-exempt personnel and subcontractors, applying established policies and precedents.
• Review work for sound judgment, quality, and efficiency, and administer employee-related policies.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, following established procedures, timelines, and work plans.
• Oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, coordinating with vendors as needed.
• Maintain compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act executive exemption criteria.

Desired Skills

• Facility Maintenance Supervisor experience specifically in Mechanical and Electrical Operations
• Minimum of 3 years Maintenance Supervisory experience in a heavy industrial plant setting
• Experience leading effectively in a challenging environment with all levels of personnel, including internal and external customers
• Technical skills and knowledge of critical equipment maintenance that supports the product and infrastructure systems
