Responsibilities
- Upkeep, maintenance, cleanliness, and security of building(s) and associated areas.
- Ordering supplies, equipment, and parts as needed for facility cleanliness.
- Scheduling preventive maintenance and custodial tasks.
- Ensuring daily security activities are completed according to guidelines.
- Facilitating unscheduled maintenance and cleaning as needed.
- Coordinating with Security and Facilities Director for special events.
- Inspecting facilities daily, identifying, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining as necessary.
- Facilitating meeting room setup with Events Coordinator.
- Financially recommending appropriate budgets and working within them.
- Ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Communicating written accident/incident reports to Management.
- Handling special circumstances such as hurricane/storm preparations/recovery, water event recovery, power outages, cold weather preparations, Christmas decorations, etc.
- Representing Brett/Robinson with courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion.
- Enforcing Brett/Robinson policies and coordinating communication of new and established policies.
- Maintaining employee performance to standards and analyzing and resolving day-to-day problems.
- Keeping Directors, Association Management, and Property Owners’ Board Members informed about status.
- Coordinating training requirements for subordinates and work flow procedures.
- Communicating with other departments and external clients/vendors.
- Reporting safety hazards and attending departmental meetings.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
