About the role

The Facility Maintenance Specialist, Principal (Electrician) is responsible for overseeing the electrical systems within a facility, ensuring they are safe, efficient, and meet all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installations and maintenance tasks
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes
• Perform inspections and repairs on electrical systems
• Coordinate with other maintenance staff to ensure comprehensive facility upkeep
• Train new employees on electrical safety and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, with a focus on electrical systems
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Proficient in electrical systems and safety practices
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
