Facility Maintenance (39164)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness of facilities
- Performing plumbing, HVAC, and basic carpentry repairs
- Painting and installing drywall
- Light surface preparation and exterior maintenance
- Cleaning facilities
- Using various hand and power tools
Qualifications (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for plumbing, electrical, and related issues
- Ability to perform general maintenance repairs including carpentry, surface preparation, and light maintenance
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Proficiency in using various hand and power tools
- Two or more years of verified handyman skilled work experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, twist, and turn
- Ability to work in small spaces
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Capable of walking long distances
Additional Requirements
- Punctuality is essential
- Current and valid California Driver’s license required
- This is an hourly position
- The typical work schedule is from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays
- On-call availability may be required
