Facility in California Is Seeking a Locum Tenens Family Practice Physician

About the role

Telehealth opportunity providing urgent care or primary care in an outpatient setting, with shifts from 5 am–11 pm PST (holidays required). Full‑time (40 hrs/week), modified‑full‑time (32 hrs/week) and part‑time (20 hrs/week) options are available, with weekend coverage every 4th or every other weekend (8‑hour shifts). Clinicians typically see 3–6 patients per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care or primary care services via telehealth.
• Care for patients of all ages, newborn through adult.
• Manage a patient load of approximately 3–6 patients per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years post‑residency experience in urgent care or primary care.
• Board certification (ABMS or AOA).
• Comfortable delivering care across the age spectrum (newborn to adult).

Pay

Competitive compensation ranging from $120.00 to $145.00 per hour (all‑inclusive, combining base pay with potential overtime, call, and holiday earnings). Exact rates depend on critical need, experience, qualifications and other factors.
