Responsibilities
- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the facility’s goals, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee development.
- Oversee the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent. Manage onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the facility.
- Address employee concerns and manage conflict resolution. Promote a positive work environment and foster strong employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and legal requirements.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal systems. Support managers in setting performance goals, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.
- Identify training needs and oversee the development and implementation of training programs to enhance staff skills and career growth.
- Oversee compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure they are competitive and align with organizational goals.
- Manage employee records, and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits.
- Promote and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Address any workplace safety concerns and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, providing guidance and support to HR staff. Foster a collaborative and efficient HR department.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR management role, preferably in a healthcare or skilled nursing environment.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day HR operations.
