Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite engineering support during construction activities for energy and industrial facilities
- Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, construction, and inspection teams
- Support and oversee field activities including: Pressure and integrity testing, Mechanical punch list development and closeout, Inspection and quality documentation, Field audits and compliance checks
- Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure field execution aligns with design intent
- Identify, document, and help resolve field engineering issues and deviations
- Support project reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a construction environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of engineering experience, including time spent in construction or field based roles
- Experience supporting compressor stations, pipeline facilities, or heavy industrial construction
- Experience supporting industrial, energy, pipeline, or similar infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of construction practices, testing procedures, and field documentation
- Ability to work extended hours and travel to multiple project sites as needed
- Strong communication and coordination skills with field and engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction testing plans, inspections, and punch list processes
- Prior experience working alongside craft labor and construction supervisors
