Facility Engineer (Civil or Mechanical)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering support during construction activities for energy and industrial facilities
• Serve as a technical liaison between engineering, construction, and inspection teams
• Support and oversee field activities including: Pressure and integrity testing, Mechanical punch list development and closeout, Inspection and quality documentation, Field audits and compliance checks
• Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure field execution aligns with design intent
• Identify, document, and help resolve field engineering issues and deviations
• Support project reporting, documentation, and progress tracking
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule adherence in a construction environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including time spent in construction or field based roles
• Experience supporting compressor stations, pipeline facilities, or heavy industrial construction
• Experience supporting industrial, energy, pipeline, or similar infrastructure projects
• Strong understanding of construction practices, testing procedures, and field documentation
• Ability to work extended hours and travel to multiple project sites as needed
• Strong communication and coordination skills with field and engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with construction testing plans, inspections, and punch list processes
• Prior experience working alongside craft labor and construction supervisors
