Facility Administrator Assistant
Koinonia Homes for Teens is seeking a qualified and caring individual to join our team as a Facility Administrator Assistant (FAA) to work with youth in our adolescent residential therapeutic program in Loomis, CA. The FAA position provides administrative support and supervises the youth in their day-to-day activities in Koinonia's Homes for Teens residential program. The program serves youth 12 to 18 years of age who have had early childhood trauma with mental health and/or substance abuse issues that require residential treatment.
Responsibilities
- Menu planning and grocery shopping
- Maintaining electronic and hard-copy client files
- Medication management
- Managing the weekly petty cash budget
- Supervising youth
- Providing transportation for youth
- Modeling appropriate and positive adult behavior
- Participating in periodic group and individual therapy sessions with social workers and youth
- Performing routine household and grounds maintenance as needed
- Performing food service duties for youth as needed
- Preparing required paperwork and reports
Requirements
- Be proficient in trauma-informed care practices
- Be adept at money management
- Maintain professionalism at all times
- Be detail oriented and highly organized
- Critical assessment skills
- Good administrative skills
- At least 21 years of age (as required by state law)
- Experience working with youth (including but not limited to coaching, tutoring, mentoring, daycare, volunteering or working in a school), OR a bachelor's degree, OR teaching certificate, OR Alcohol and Other Drug certification
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely and reliably transport youth to medical appointments, therapy sessions, educational activities, and other essential services
- Ability to respond to crisis situations by providing immediate transportation

Pay
$23.00 to $25.00 per hour starting wage, or higher depending upon overall qualifications.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
