Facilities Wastewater Technician I (Night Shift)

Job Summary

Siltronic is seeking a Facilities Wastewater Technician I - Night Shift (12-hour Pitman schedule starting at 6:45pm to 6:45am) with a 15% shift differential. This role will maintain and operate equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation, analyze and repair equipment issues, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient operation
• Analyze and repair equipment issues while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations
• Read, learn, and interpret complex documents and manuals, and report on findings and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with fellow technicians to help drive operations forward
• Keep everything in top shape, continually expanding expertise in areas like RODI, waste treatment, boilers, compressors, and other various types of machinery
• Monitor data and report findings to help meet regulatory standards and maintain a safe work environment
• Understand the hazards in the workplace, including hazardous waste handling and awareness

Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-2 years of industry-related experience
• Knowledge of safety / environmental rules

Physical Demands

• Able to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
• Able to use office equipment, phones, laptop effectively for extended periods of time
