Facilities Utility Engineer

Responsibilities

• Replace and maintain light bulbs, lamps, and related lighting components throughout facilities.
• Replace and maintain HVAC air filters and assist with routine preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist Engineering staff with cleaning, inspection, and general maintenance of cooling towers and associated equipment.
• Perform housekeeping and maintenance support for mechanical rooms, equipment spaces, and facility infrastructure.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Work under the direct supervision of the Stationary engineers Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineers.
• Take direction and complete assigned tasks as instructed by the Chief Engineer and Assistant Chief Engineers.
• Support building operations, maintenance, and repair activities as required to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar maintenance or support role preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting fixtures, and basic electrical systems.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work safely.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
