Facilities Technician (Sun - Thurs/Morning Shift)

About the Role

This individual will be responsible for maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

• Experience with Distribution and/or commercial building maintenance
• General roof inspections (Roof Drains, Exhaust fans, AC, Roof membrane)
• Landscaping
• Plumbing
• Painting
• Carpentry
• Lighting
• Knowledge of electricity and electric control panels (Any training or schooling a plus)
• Drywall installation and repair
• Concrete repairs & coatings
• High bay racking
• Roll up doors
• Janitorial requirements and supplies (good housekeeping)
• Building safety and safety for all personnel
• Ability to identify facility needs and/or potential problem areas
• Ability to use all shop tools
• Keep the department OSHA compliant
• Communicate with upper management on a daily basis
• Take directives from Maintenance Manager
• Perform housekeeping duties when needed
• Work with minimal supervision
• Perform any other special projects and general requests made by direct supervisor as needed
• Contribute hands-on

Requirements

• Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Reach and/or Order Picker/Walker Rider equipment, etc.
• Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• Ability to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 4-5+ years in Maintenance; specific knowledge of scanners, print & apply machines a plus

Pay

$24 - $26 an hour

Schedule

Sunday - Thursday / 2am - 10:30am
