Job Summary
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church is seeking a Facilities Support Team Member to support their vision, mission, ministries, and community partners. This role ensures spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
Event Execution, Setups, & Support
- Execute Room Setups: Review and set up heavy furniture and equipment.
- Provide Event Support (CERT): Respond to spills, restrooms, and trash management.
- Clock in/out and coordinate schedules.
Facility Maintenance, Sanitization, & Resets
- Perform daily resets, sanitize, and deep clean rooms.
- Operate commercial floor care equipment.
- Manage waste disposal.
Facility Restoration & Operations
- Execute restore tasks, perform maintenance, and conduct minor repairs.
- Inventory and control supplies.
Safety, Security, & Shift Handoffs
- Follow lockup procedures and handle emergencies.
- Maintain communication and coordination with peers.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Education
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience operating commercial floor care machinery.
Core Skills & Competencies
- Interpersonal & Alignment: Positive attitude and service orientation.
- Communication: Active listening, comprehension of schedules and MSDS.
- Independence & Discretion: Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Technical & Mechanical Aptitude: Basic computer skills, minor mechanical skills.

Compensation
$19.00 per hour
