Job Summary

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church is seeking a Facilities Support Team Member to support their vision, mission, ministries, and community partners. This role ensures spaces are clean, organized, and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Execution, Setups, & Support

• Execute Room Setups: Review and set up heavy furniture and equipment.
• Provide Event Support (CERT): Respond to spills, restrooms, and trash management.
• Clock in/out and coordinate schedules.

• Facility Maintenance, Sanitization, & Resets

• Perform daily resets, sanitize, and deep clean rooms.
• Operate commercial floor care equipment.
• Manage waste disposal.

• Facility Restoration & Operations

• Execute restore tasks, perform maintenance, and conduct minor repairs.
• Inventory and control supplies.

• Safety, Security, & Shift Handoffs

• Follow lockup procedures and handle emergencies.
• Maintain communication and coordination with peers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience & Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience operating commercial floor care machinery.

• Communication: Active listening, comprehension of schedules and MSDS.
• Independence & Discretion: Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Compensation

$19.00 per hour
