About the role
Sorts and delivers incoming mail and parcels, prepares and posts outgoing mail ensuring compliance with all postal and export regulations. Interfaces with all internal and external customers and vendors to ensure satisfaction, reliability and compliance with all government and company regulations and policies.

- Interfaces with all internal and external customers and vendors to ensure satisfaction, reliability, and compliance with all government and company regulations and policies
- As designated, may assist in collecting payroll and personnel information for the Supervisor, Program Manager, District Office, and Timekeeping department
- Reinforces training objectives to Mail Services Clerk and other company personnel
- In conjunction with company management or designated representatives, ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions; maintain an open line of communication with the Supervisor to advise and inform
- Operates office equipment to solve customer problems and complaints
- Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, life/safety personnel, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site
- Learn and perform multiple mail runs and other mail services-related duties
Qualifications
Basic requirements: U.S. citizenship preferred. Must have or be able to obtain a current, valid state driver's license. Must have or have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
Background prerequisites: Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioral selection survey, in addition to any mandatory licensing requirements.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. One (1) to two (2) years' experience in the field and well-developed skills appropriate to the assignment.

Working conditions
- Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations
- May be required to work overtime without advance notice
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for up to 8 hours per day and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
- Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 40 pounds
- Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
- May be required to use vehicle in the performance of duties (cars, trucks, electric carts and bicycles)
- On occasion may be required to perform stressful physical activity
- May be exposed to or required to handle sensitive and confidential information
Pay
$20.90 - 21.24 Hourly
