Responsibilities
- Oversight of all housekeeping. Managing contractor and/or internal teams to make sure the buildings and their common areas are always in a clean and presentable fashion.
- Ensuring all restroom and breakroom facilities are in good operation.
- Pest and rodent control including monthly inspections
- Ensure all floors, doors, ceiling tiles, and walls are free from damage
- Snow removal and treatment
- Maintain all personnel doors, vehicle doors, and warehouse bays are in good working fashion.
- Ensure all municipal licenses and permits are up to date for devices like boilers, pressurized vessels, back flow preventors, fire suppression systems, and elevators.
- Management
- Oversight of all landscaping. Managing contractor and/or internal teams to make sure the grounds are always in a clean and presentable fashion.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and other facility equipment
- Adhere to annual budget for facilities
- Complete weekly inspections of all above areas to identify maintenance issues
- Clock with external service contractors in order to get work done as needed.
- May be required to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines or mitigate emergency situations
- Assist in fostering good public relations of the company.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree and/or equaling relevant industry experience
- Good documentation skills.
- Ability to work within a team of diverse backgrounds.
- Good communication, team player, flexible, self-motivated, and decision maker.
- Professionalism.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous learning attitude.
- Safe, clean, and organized work habits.
- Familiar with what tools are correct for specific tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Experience utilizing a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for work order ticketing and tracking.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.

- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Food or Chemical Industry.
- Hands on repair skills.
- Can read schematics (mechanical, pneumatic, piping, part assemblies).
- GMP experience.
- Other trade skills/licenses/experience (HVAC, pipefitting, welding, machinist, construction, etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
Working Conditions
- Work environment includes exposure to wet, hot, loud, tight access, and/or elevated areas.
- Must have a high consciousness for personnel and equipment safety.
- Must adhere to site clothing/uniform and PPE policy at all times. Must wear shirt with sleeves, pants, 6” boots with safety toes, hard hart, safety glasses. Should maintain a business appropriate attire. May need to wear additional PPE where required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, turning, and climbing.
- Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.
- Work in various positions such as walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged durations.
- May access confined spaces as needed.
- Chemical exposure to cleaners, oil, grease.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
