Facilities Specialist - Temp
About the Role
The Facilities Specialist (temp) will support the Sphere Studios Office Services Team with the day-to-day operations of Sphere Studios' Los Angeles production studios. This includes general office services, equipment maintenance, and administrative duties across multiple sites. The role requires experience working in a cross-functional capacity delivering results in a fast-paced environment. This temporary position supports core internal partners in day-to-day site needs and specialized technical projects and is paid weekly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date records for compliance with all State, Federal, and insurance inspections and relevant regulations.
- Coordinate with and support all outside service vendors, including Janitorial, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Security, and Utilities.
- Perform routine facility inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Demonstrate familiarity with commercial office facility maintenance standards, including preventive maintenance planning and execution.
- Act as the central liaison for shipping and receiving, ensuring efficient logistics management and delivery operations.
- Serve as primary contact for unique and recurring visitor/vendor access and new employee access.
- Assist in the maintenance of pantry/office supplies and First Aid cabinets, conduct daily rounds to replace stock, and track inventory for re-ordering.
- Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members, adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in facility operations or facility services.
- Excellent interpersonal and professional skills, including effective verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to efficiently handle and prioritize multiple tasks with accuracy.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of personal initiative; responsible, reliable, and dependable with strong follow-through.
- Must be a team player, able to coordinate and collaborate across the organization.
- OSHA 10 Certification a plus.
Pay
Weekly pay range: $1,350.00 – $1,750.00.
