Facilities Specialist 1 - FT

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install, remove, and make recommendations for improving operations to systems relative to specialty, experience, and skillsets.
• Perform scheduled and nonscheduled repairs, maintenance, and installation of machinery, tools, equipment, and associated equipment to ensure continuous and safe operation of the property.
• Perform preventive maintenance in conjunction with all building maintenance and/or cleanliness related items.
• Submit parts requests associated with repairs, upkeep, and improvements.
• Directly or indirectly support exterior grounds activities in the parking garage and other exterior area needs.
• Maintain all sanitation equipment.
• Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and water distribution, including fire suppression and sewerage facilities.
• Comply with all OSHA regulations at Hollywood Columbus.
• Participate actively in safety compliance procedures.
• Maintain and monitor controls to assure full compliance with all federal, state, corporate, and property laws, policies, and mandates.
• Interact effectively and positively across departmental lines.
• Be a team player.

Qualifications

• Certified HVAC, refrigeration, or kitchen maintenance journeyman rating with ten years’ experience in large commercial or industrial building maintenance in plumbing, painting, HVAC, kitchen maintenance, refrigeration, carpentry, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
