About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Facilities Shop Helper to support day-to-day operations within a fast-paced manufacturing and shop environment. This is a hands-on, highly varied position for someone who enjoys staying busy and helping wherever needed. The Shop Helper will work alongside facilities personnel, technicians, managers, and other team members to assist with equipment, general maintenance, organization, material movement, and facility projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative rather than waiting for the next assignment.

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with their hands, fixing things, using tools, staying active, and learning new skills. We're looking for someone with a team-first mentality who is comfortable saying, "Whatever needs to get done, I'll help get it done." There is potential for long-term employment and advancement for an individual who demonstrates strong reliability, initiative, and continued development of mechanical and maintenance skills.
